The Snow Storm

One night a storm was blowing. It had recently snowed, but things were getting worse. Amy had just finished her hours of police duty was was trying to get home. It was so cold that she wasn't wearing her usual outfit. She had to wear a wool coat to keep her entire body warm. She tried to start her car, but the cold weather was so bad that the engine froze.

Amy: Oh man. How am I going to get home? Oh wait, Sonic can come and get me. I'll just call home.

But unluckily, Amy forgot her phone and couldn't call anyone. She couldn't even use the caller in her police car because without the engine running, nothing worked. The sirens didn't work, the radio didn't work, the car was pretty much dead until something could warm the engine.

Meanwhile at home, Sonic was getting worried. Not only was Amy out, but so was Jr. Jr was having a play date over at Sarah's house. Earlier that day, they were playing in the snow in Sarah's backyard. They were inside now playing with Sarah's baby brothers, Shaun and Will. They were teaching them to walk.

Jr: OK, Shaun. Just stand up on both of your legs. No those are your arms.

Sarah: Will, what are your legs?

Will pointed at one of his ears.

Sarah: No. That's your ear. I said leg.

Will then pointed at his arm.

Sarah: No, that's your arm.

Tails was already home, but Cream was still out. She was helping a sick patient at the hospital. That night, Cream was scheduled to get off work at 9'O Clock and it was already 8:45. After Cream had finished up with the patient, she went into the lobby where she was preparing to call it a day. Just then, Amy came in.

Cream: Amy? What are you doing here?

Amy: I forgot my phone, my car's engine won't run, and it's hard to tell where everything is. It's so hard to tell in this storm.

Cream: That must be bad.

Amy: And I bet my Sonikku is worried about me. I can't call him because as I said before, I don't have my phone and I can't call using the car's speaker cause without the engine running, nothing is working.

Cream: Well, I'll call Sonic and let him know where you are.

Amy: OK. Can I actually do it?

Cream: OK. The phone's right over there.

Amy: Thank you.

Amy went over to the phone and called to Sonic. Sonic then got the phone call.

Sonic: Hello?

Amy: Sonic, I'm at the hospital.

Sonic: Why? What happened? Are you OK?

Amy: Yeah, I'm fine, but my car's engine is not running, I couldn't call you on my phone cause I left it at home. The hospital just happened to be the closest place to where I was.

Sonic: I'm also concerned that Jr hasn't arrived home yet either. Rosie is in their bedroom wondering where he is.

Amy: Didn't he go to the Prowler's to play with Sarah?

Sonic: Oh yeah. I remember now.

Amy: Do you think you can come and pick me up?

Sonic: Oh, well, I can't because if I leave the house, there would be nobody to look after Rosie. And she hates going out in snowstorms.

Amy: So you think I should just spend the night at the hospital until morning?

Sonic: Yeah, I guess you'll have to do that.

Amy: OK. I love you.

Sonic: Love you too.

After Amy got off the phone, Cream then phoned to Tails.

Cream: Tails, I don't think I'll be able to make it home tonight. Amy and I are both stuck at the hospital.

Tails: What happened?

Cream then told Tails the whole story of what Amy told her.

Cream: And Sonic can't leave Rosie at home and she hates snowstorms. So I guess Jr will have to spend the night at our place.

Tails: OK. Love you.

Cream: Love you too.

After Tails got off the phone he went to tell Jr and Sarah the news.

Tails: Jr, your mom and Mrs. Prowler are stuck at the hospital because of this snowstorm and your dad can't pick them up cause he needs to stay at home with Rosie.

Jr: Oh. So, what about me?

Tails: You'll have to spend the night here.

Tails also told Jr Amy's story, but I'm not going to give it out again or you'd get bored of reading. In Sarah's room, there were some bunk beds. They were for Shaun and Will when they grew older, but Jr was told he could spend the night in one of them since Shaun and Will weren't using them right now.

Sarah: Well, this is going to be fun. A sleepover.

Jr: Yep.

So Sonic spend the night in Jr's room to keep Rosie company, Amy and Cream slept at the hospital, and Jr and Sarah had their sleepover. The next morning, everyone was working to warm the engine in Amy's car, cause she was going to need it this day. They tried activated the engine with the power from the ambulance's engine and sure enough, the police car was running again. So everyone made it through the storm.
